It reveals the official first (fiery) glimpse of primary antagonist Ares, who’s been absent from the film’s marketing until this point. The Greek god, and longtime Wonder Woman foe, is widely rumored to be portrayed in some form by “Harry Potter” veteran David Thewlis, who appears in the film as Sir Patrick Morgan. Ares has previously only been spotted in toy form, and just this week in packaging for Hot Toys’ movie tie-in.
