With Titans wrapping its first season on DC Universe today, and Young Justice set to debut January 4, Warner Bros.' DC-centric streaming service has released the first video promo for its second live-action superhero outing. The short teaser gives us a glimpse of the Doom Patrol as they take their holiday photo for the year, providing the first official shot of Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero) and the first look ever at Joivan Wade's Cyborg.

As you can see in the video embedded below, the show's approach to Cyborg mirrors the one it's taking for Robotman, relying on practical effects and makeup rather than using CGI to render the young hero's metallic parts. The short montage of holiday scenes also gives us a hint of what to expect from the show, which appears to be poised to take a similar approach to the characters as their recent comic book adventures, sending the group on odd, often surreal adventures rather than your standard superhero fare.

A spinoff of Titans, Doom Patrol centers on misfits -- Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane -- who have been granted superhuman abilities as a result of horrible accidents. Brought together by the scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (Timothy Dalton), aka The Chief, they're called into action by Cyborg.

The Doom Patrol recently returned to the comics thanks to DC's Young Animal imprint in a comic written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Nick Derington. The offbeat superteam also appeared in the final season of the animated Teen Titans series where they helped Beast Boy and the other Titans fight the Brotherhood of Evil.

Debuting on February 15 DC Universe, Doom Patrol stars Timothy Dalton, Brendan Fraser, Joivan Wade, April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Alan Tudyk and Matt Bomer.
