Following the announcement of the game just last week, Koei Tecmo has unleashed the first trailer for "Berserk," which casts the spotlight on the oversized sword Dragonslayer. At least we think it's referring to the sword.

"It was much too big to be called a sword," the text states. "Massive, thick, heavy and far too rough. Indeed, it was like a heap of raw iron."

However, the trailer delivers more than mere words: We also get to see the mercenary Guts from Kentaro Miura’s long-running dark fantasy manga wield Dragonslayer in actual gameplay footage.

Developed by Omega Force, the studio behind the hit “Warriors” series and the new “Attack on Titan” game, “Berserk” is billed as “the most evil ‘Musou’ in history.” The game will debut Sept. 21 in Japan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita before making its way to North America and Europe.
