Fire Force is literally the hot new thing in town. Shinra and his band of firefighters have taken the Shonen anime world by storm and can only move up from here. Its animation and action have all been well choreographed. Its opening has gone viral. With Season 1 having just closed, Season 2 has already been announced.

Given this sharp rise up the anime ranks, it's no wonder that this series already has its fair share of memes online. One only truly ascends to legendary status once it has been memed, and Fire Force has plenty of them. Having just finished the series or just want a wide rundown of what's in store? Here are some of the best memes out there to quench the thirst.

10 It is Hereby Illegal

It's understandable to skip the OP and ED once one has heard it a few times. When marathoning a good series, it's always a good thing to try and clear up as much time as possible.

However, if anyone out there is thinking of skipping out on the Fire Force credits, then be prepared to hear a knock at the door. The anime police is coming, and they're sentencing you to an extended edition of these two songs. Seriously though, the OP and ED are truly as fire as the series itself.

9 Firefighters in Fire Force

The description for Fire Force is entertainment enough. It is a Shonen series that is literally about firefighters literally, physically fighting fires with weapons, fists, and magic.

The series is proof that anime can truly make anything better, as the image above shows how just dropping one dimension can help make mundane firefighting into an entire adventure involving a flaming fox girl. A normal day in Company 8 is a wild fantasy for anyone else.

8 Beautiful Piece

Who cares if she's the anime personification of a famous web browser? Tamaki Kotatsu truly is a beautiful, walking piece of art. Every anime season has its fair share of viral best girls and waifus, and Tamaki will certainly get her fair share of rounds with both Seasons 1 and 2. Now, if only she could get people's download speeds to quicken. Only then will she truly be THE best girl.

7 Oh? You Call It "Fire Force"?

One can argue all day about what the true and most authentic pronunciation and title is. And much of that time is wasted, as there really is only one true name. "Fire Force" is for English dub pleebs. "Enn Enn no Shouboutai" is for English sub weebs.

The true pronunciation comes from the true intent and artifice of the series: not being another fake out for a new Soul Eater season. While the series isn't exactly the return of Maka and Soul, it's a welcome return for the creator to a much more comfortable form.

6 One Gotta Go

Fire Force is definitely a stand out series for the recent anime season. However, in all honesty, it wasn't exactly coming out and finishing as anyone's all-time favorite.

It's a fun series within its own right, but the modern generation of Shonen anime has delivered a variety of mainstream hits ranging from the loveable Deku to the genius Senku. Fire Force is kind of just there to tie Shonen fans over between the seasons, but it certainly isn't slouching on that responsibility. This series really does need more love.

5 Third-Generation What Now?!

Coming from the same creator of Soul Eater, Fire Force is a series well-established in its world-building, characters, and magic systems. There are people like Shinra who can summon firey melee attacks.

There are people like Arthur who can fight with what is essentially a lightsaber (They have to be paying Disney something.). Then, there's Tamaki Kotatsu, who has the uncanny ability to put people into ecchi situations, because that's totally related to pyrokinetics and fire fighting.

4 When the Parents Walk In

Fire Force is a very dynamic series. It can have its viewers crying in one scene and laughing in the next. There are heartfelt moments, ones of political intrigue, and plenty of anime action to fill in the gaps. Then there's also the pervy scenes that kind of happen...a lot.

This is to be expected when one of the character's powers is literally to be cursed with doing ecchi things, but there should be a line. The series as a whole is fun, and one can only wish that it was a little easier to watch around the family or even just alone.

3 So...It's Not Steins;Gate

At no fault to the series creator or anyone else working on the anime, Fire Force, as a series, is now forever tied to Steins;Gate like Christmas lights in the attic.

Anime fans are a close community build solidly (almost too solidly) on a select few of cultural tropes and symbols, whether that involves the Naruto run, Monkey D. Luffy's straw hat, or thinking that quoting Fullmetal Alchemist makes anyone sound like they're good at science. This is no different for Steins;Gate, a series that has somehow become synonymous with their clock, leaving Fire Force to try and work around the distraction.

2 Hot Showers

Somewhere along the line of human invention and innovation, someone got all the notes mixed up for faucets and water temperature, and now no one knows what they're doing.

Even with just a home shower system, there is no complete control, just a tight rope act to try and avoid being scalded in the morning. At that two extra centimeters to the hot side, what is even the point of it being water if it's not doing the actual refreshing thing?

1 They Won't Take "No."

Hikage and Hinata are the sharp-tongued twins of the series who, if they're not following Captain Benimaru, are probably out beating down on some infernals.

It really must be hard to raise or please two small children who could very well send anyone to the hospital with one wild game of patty cake. Taking a page from Tamaki, these two will summon the power of Mozilla Firefox to take down their enemies and get what they want from their parents.
