Many of the support conversations show new depths to each of the characters and give them further development than in the main story alone. This character development had fans wishing that Fire Emblem had an anime. Some of these support conversations, especially those between students of different houses, can be fairly heartwarming and hilarious.

10 Claude & Petra's Support Is Amusingly Heartwarming

Petra Fire Emblem

Claude's and Petra's supports are both hilarious and heartwarming. Their first support conversation involves Petra easily climbing a tree while Claude is napping underneath it. Their later support conversations focus on their wishes to see each other, both foreigners to Fodlan, as equals and end class and racial discrimination.

Petra eventually reveals that she's seeking a spouse to bring back to Brigid, and it's heavily implied that Claude is the one she wants as her husband. In their paired ending, both of them inherit their thrones in Almyra and Brigid after getting married and foster friendly relations between Almyra, Brigid, and Fódlan.

9 Dimitri & Raphael's Support Hilariously Succeeds In Chaotic Outcomes

Raphael Fire Emblem Three Houses

Dimitri and Raphael have two hilarious support conversations with their friendship and camaraderie. Both of them revolve around Dimitri sharing his harsh childhood training regimen before the events of the game, and Raphael trying to take on this same training regimen to get stronger.

Unfortunately, this backfires badly, and Raphael experiences muscle pain for seemingly the first time in his life. Dimitri, in turn, is awed, concerned, and horrified. Many fans pointed this pair out as having some of the funniest support conversations in the entire game.

8 Bernadetta & Felix's Support Focuses On Technique & Amusement

Bernadetta and Felix initially seem like two people that won't be a great match for each other, considering Felix's blunt nature and Bernadetta's social anxiety. However, both of them get along quite well in their support conversations. After Bernadetta hilariously disarms Felix in a panic during their first support conversation, after a misunderstanding, Felix is immediately intrigued by her technique and even tries asking her to teach him.

Thankfully for Felix, he does get a chance to see this in action again in later support conversations, when Bernadetta panics and disarms a bandit trying to corner her.

7 Lorenz & Mercedes' Support Is Charming & Hopeful

Lorenz and Mercedes initially have difficulties understanding each other in their supports, due to their clashing views on common folk and nobility. Mercedes points out to Lorenz that despite his insistence that he cannot marry someone of the common folk due to his noble status, he actually does like being around them.

Lorenz eventually reveals, in their A support conversation, that the bloodline of his future spouse is irrelevant as long as it benefits House Gloucester. Technically, he could marry Mercedes considering that her family was once considered nobility and she also has a Crest. They can have a paired ending where both of them ask Lorenz's father for permission to get married. Even better? Lorenz's father actually agrees to this arrangement despite Mercedes' status as a commoner, due to her virtuous qualities, and the marriage is a very happy one.

6 Claude & Ingrid's Clashes Are Incredibly Amusing

Claude and Ingrid are a case of opposites in their support conversations, leading to some hilarious situations. Ingrid tries to get Claude to be more serious about his duties. However, Claude challenges Ingrid, in return, to lighten up more. Their attempts only end up attracting the concern and confusion of their classmates and allies.

Claude keeps trying to run away from the conversation in later supports, too, much to Ingrid's ire and the fans' amusement. In their paired ending, it's hilariously noted that Ingrid and Claude still have many arguments after getting married, and the sight of her chasing him around the castle is commonplace.

5 Edelgard & Lysithea's Supports Are Angsty But With A Happy Ending

Edelgard from Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Edelgard and Lysithea's supports focus on Lysithea's having two Crests. Their B and A supports focus further on how this personally affected both Edelgard and Lysithea, with Lysithea revealing her frustrations with having no say in having two Crests, to begin with. Both of them can bond and empathize with each other over the Crest situation, which is heartwarming considering how much this situation hurt them.

Even better is that their paired ending results in Edelgard and Lysithea both finding a way to restore the time lost to them from the whole Crest situation. Both of them live long, healthy lives ushering Fódlan into a new age of innovation and prosperity.

4 Sylvain & Bernadetta's Supports Are Love Letters To Fans As Well As Budding Authors

Sylvain Fire Emblem

Sylvain and Bernadetta's support conversations are heartwarming and hilarious. Sylvain finds a manuscript that Bernadetta was writing, and ends up reading the whole thing. Sylvain loves it, but Bernadetta is so shocked and horrified by this that she ends up running away, begging him to forget about it.

However, the next support reveals that Sylvain decided to send a letter to Bernadetta to ease her worries about her manuscript, fully supporting her writing every step of the way. Fans of this support wish that Sylvain and Bernadetta had a paired ending, due to how sweet and supportive it is.

3 Marianne & Ferdinand Find Joy In The Little Things

Marianne Fire Emblem Three Houses

Ferdinand and Marianne may seem like an odd pair to some fans. Ferdinand's pride in being a noble and optimistic outlook initially clashes with Marianne's self-loathing and wish to live a quiet life. Ferdinand eventually points out to Marianne that though her circumstances may be less than ideal, that doesn't mean that she has to be pessimistic about life entirely.

Even better is that by the time of their A support, Marianne has started to find joy in doing little things to make people happy, whether it be helping the animals or cooking meals. Their supports together show that one's purpose in life doesn't have to be a grand, big thing, but can be composed of smaller, little things that still bring joy, no matter how tough life can be. Their paired ending results in them getting married. Ferdinand apparently tried to order a statue of her to honor her as well, but Marianne ordered it to be hidden from the public eye for eternity.

2 Annette & Hilda's Support Conversations Are Amusingly Adorable

Hilda Annette Fire Emblem Three Houses

Annette, from the Blue Lions, and Hilda, from the Golden Deer, share two adorable support conversations. When Annette visits Hilda's messy room, she immediately offers to clean the room. However, when Annette's clumsiness gets in the way of accomplishing a tidy, neat room and makes it worse, Hilda immediately cleans her own room or risk something else getting broken.

Additionally, Annette learns from Hilda to take time to take care of herself and not to overextend her wellbeing to help others, and the two of them end up taking a nap in the middle of the day together. Fans wish that this pair got an A support conversation and a paired ending, due to the adorable support conversations.

Caspar, from the Black Eagles, and Ashe, from the Blue Lions, are virtually buddy cops in all of their support conversations. Each of the support conversations revolves around them teaming up together. Both of their clashing views of how to deliver justice lead to some hilarious results. After they catch a cat that's as adorable as one might see in an anime, they bot adopt and care for it in their A support.

Ashe and Caspar both travel the world together in their shared ending, resulting in them punishing multiple people preying upon the helpless. Their adventures were so amusing and exciting that these stories lived on as folktales.
