The latest "Star Wars" installment managed to pull in $1,450 across 20 theaters on its final day at the box office, which -- as Uproxx points out -- also made it one of the country’s 50 highest grossing movies for the week; it came in just under Don Cheadle's "Miles Ahead," but slightly above "Meet the Blacks." To date, "The Force Awakens" has earned over $2 billion worldwide.
"The Force Awakens" smashed box office records starting on its December 18 debut, scoring $119,119,282 that day alone. It has also broken multiple other records, including 3D, IMAX, worldwide opening, Christmas day, fastest to $100 million, fastest to $150 million, fastest to $200 million and fastest to $500 million.
