While Tom Holland may be perfectly suited to save the day as the eponymous friendly neighborhood webslinger in Spider-Man: Far From Home, he'll need all the help he can get for Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers.

Square Enix has released a new trailer for the online role-playing game's latest expansion, Shadowbringers, featuring Holland's Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Hannibal Buress helping the actor and gamer prepare to become a new Warrior of Darkness.

As Holland faces his own self-doubts about his abilities after rigorously working out around his home to Buress' chagrin, the stand-up comedian reminds Holland that the ultimate Final Fantasy master exists as a spirit within rather than one that can be forced.

In addition to sporting a significant graphical upgrade since the last expansion released in 2017, the Shadowbringers expansion will add two new races, two new player jobs, new in-game missions and tasks, new areas to explore, and raising the player level cap to 80. One of the new raids will be themed around Square's other popular video game franchise NieR: Automata, providing players with a rare crossover opportunity.
