Final Fantasy VII Remake: Supergirl's Tyler Hoechlin Headlines Voice Cast

Square Enix has released an official cast list for the Final Fantasy VII remake. Among the list of new cast members is Supergirl star Tyler Hoechlin, who trades in his Superman cape for Sephiroth's sword.

Cloud Strife will be voiced by Hoechlin's fellow Teen Wolf alum Cody Christian. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's John Eric Bently will take on the role of Barrett Wallace, Briana White will play Aerith and Tifa will be voiced by Britt Baron of GLOW fame. Rounding out the AVALANCHE crew members is Gideon Emery (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Teen Wolf) as Biggs, Matt Jones (Breaking Bad) as Wedge and Erica Lindbeck (Spider-Man, Persona 5) as Jessie.

Hoechlin gave fans a first taste of his performance as the One Winged Angel in the full trailer Square Enix released at E3. Afterwards, Steve Burton -- Cloud's original voice actor -- took to Twitter to announce his support for Christian and the rest of the star-studded new cast. The trailer also features the first look at the Remake's version of Tifa Lockhart.

The enhanced remake of Final Fantasy VII is developed and published by Square Enix. It is scheduled to be released on March 3, 2020 for PlayStation 4.
