Final Apollo 18 Trailer Adds NASA Footage, Ups Creepiness Levels

With Apollo 18 landing in theaters in just three days, Dimension and the Weinstein Company have released one final trailer that weaves in even more NASA footage, lending additional credence to the creepy "found footage" premise of the sci-fi horror film.

Directed by Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego and produced by Timur Bekmambetov, the film suggests that the United States didn't actually discontinue the Apollo Moon missions in 1972, but instead sent Apollo 18 two years later. There the two-man crew met a horrendous fate that became the subject of a massive cover-up by the U.S. government.
