AMC has provided CBR with an exclusive clip from this Sunday's episode of Fear the Walking Dead "Weak," a brief scene showing Morgan finally getting in touch with some of his old crew.

Well, old is relative. Last week's "The Code" introduced three new characters: Sarah (Mo Collins), her brother Wendell (Daryl "Chill" Mitchell) and brewer Jim (Aaron Stanford). While Sarah and Wendell proved to be less altruistic than they initially appeared, Morgan convinced them to accompany him west to find those he left behind in Texas after a hurricane scattered them.

In the clip, Morgan hears what sounds like June's voice on his radio, but can't make contact. He insists that he's going to walk and try and find a stronger signal and instructs Sarah, Wendell and Jim to wait in the truck until he returns. Sarah gamely orders Jim to crack open a few beers so they can tailgate and the clip ends with Morgan heading off in the hopes of getting in touch with the person on the other end of that signal.

We can't speculate what this means for Morgan and a possible reunion, considering The Walking Dead took an entire season to reunite its scattered cast after the prison fell. It could be that Morgan finds his friends in the next scene, or it he may literally never connect with them. What we can say is that Sarah, Wendell and Jim(bo) are going to serve as welcome comic relief for the foreseeable future.

Fear the Walking Dead airs Sunday nights at 9pm on AMC.
