Fast Six and Fast Seven Won't Film Back to Back, Johnson Says

After Vin Diesel revealed that Fast Five would be followed up by not just one but two sequels, word on the street was the movies would be shot back to back. However, according to Dwayne Johnson, that isn't the case.

MTV News caught up with the actor on the G.I. Joe: Retaliation press circuit, and he revealed that, while the filmmakers originally intended to shoot both movies at once to conserve time and manpower, weather concerns got in the way.

Johnson also said that parts of the sequels will be shot in London as well as Germany, and that they're looking to start in May. Director Justin Lin, screenwriter Chris Morgan and executive producer Diesel are hard at work on preparation for the films now.
