WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Season 2 of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, streaming now on Netflix.

Netflix's Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Season 2 doesn't pave the easiest road to success for Tony Toretto and his team of car-racing spies. They're thrown to the wolves in Rio as they struggle to break down Rafaela's mind control operation.

Eventually, they stop the tyrant and Tony makes it clear this is just the beginning for his pit crew. Heading into Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Season 3, there are a number of potential routes for the series to explore. Here's a breakdown of everything that could happen next season.

Spy Racers May Take Team Toretto International

Tony's glad his team gets the job done in Rio, because he wants Nowhere to stop treating them like kids. Tony wants to follow his idol, cousin Dom. For most of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers so far, she has kept Team Toretto in the shadows.

Now, they've surpassed expectations and want more international assignments. Season 3 is perfectly poised to have them globetrotting, which could more thoroughly tie Spy Racers into the franchise.

Team Toretto could go on missions tied to Charlize Theron's super-hacker, Cipher, as well as Eteon, the terrorist group that specializes in genetic enhancements, super-soldiers and chemical warfare. They're ready to hunt viruses and fight even mode advanced legions now, which could see them going up against warriors similar to Idris Elba's Brixton. Nowhere trusts them now and with all these high-tech cars and weapons, Team Toretto can even expand the squad.

Recovering The Spy Plane's Data

Rafaela takes control of Nowhere and her spy plane to try to free her mom from jail in the Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Season 2 finale. She also has Agent Medina under her control, which gives her access to key Interpol data -- which could spell serious trouble.

Season 3 could focus on the crew trying to mop this mess up and retrieve sensitive data, including the mind control formula. It would follow the theme of consequences that permeates the movies and teach the kids about responsibility. Nowhere is like a den mother, so this also plays into the concept of family and it'd be nice seeing them trying to protect her.

Ms. Nowhere Might Steal Echo Away

Fast & Furious: Spy Racers Season 2 confirms how valuable Echo is, not just as a car racer and biker, but as an elite warrior. She's the best fighter but she also has a brain for black-ops missions, which leads to Nowhere taking special interest in her. Both have a lot in common which is why the green-haired spy is the one that breaks Nowhere's mind control and brings her back to the light.

Nowhere has dropped multiple hints she wants Echo as her protegé, so Season 3 should follow up on this mentorship arc. Even Tony knows Echo deserves more than just field action. Echo may hide it, but she enjoys learning the cerebral aspect of the missions, planning and delegating. Deep down, it seems she'd love to take over from Nowhere. So the series can look at the tough choice down the line, as she might have to leave the team to accept a promotion.

Executive produced by Vin Diesel, Neal H. Moritz, Chris Morgan, Tim Hedrick and Bret Haaland, Season 2 of Fast & Furious: Spy Racers is now available to stream on Netflix. The series stars Tyler Posey, Camille Ramsey, Luke Youngblood, Charlet Chung and Jorge Diaz.
