The Fargo limited series debuting next year on FX is taking its casting process very seriously, hiring big names for its lead roles.

And, according to Deadline, the latest addition to the cast is no exception: Kate Walsh, the lead actress on Private Practice and a regular presence on Grey's Anatomy over the years, has landed a major role on Fargo. She'll play Gina, "a trophy wife-type and reluctant mother of twin sons." Perhaps she's the wife of Martin Freeman's Lester Nygaard, the show's version of the Coen Brothers film's William H. Macy role — but nothing is confirmed.

Meanwhile, Joey King of Oz the Great and Powerful and Josh Close of ABC's The Unusuals have also landed roles. King has been cast as Greta, the daughter of a police deputy played by Colin Hanks. Close will play Ron, the brother of Freeman's character.

Billy Bob Thornton is also part of the cast as a ruthless criminal inspired by the original film's Steve Buscemi character.
