Fargo: Timothy Olyphant Joins FX Series' Fourth Season

Justified's Timothy Olyphant is returning to FX, snagging a role in the upcoming fourth season of Fargo.

According to Deadline, Olyphant will portray Dick “Deafy” Wickware in a major recurring role, although specific details about his character remain under wraps.

Season 4 of the anthology series will take place in 1950 in Kansas City, MO and is being headlined by Chris Rock. It will follow the local Italian and African American criminal syndicates as they fight for the American dream. Former enemies, the two groups have come to an uneasy peace; one that was cemented by the two major families trading their youngest sons. However, in typical Fargo fashion, that peace will most certainly be shortlived.

Aside from Justified, Olyphant also appeared alongside Drew Barrymore on Netflix’s Santa Clarita Diet, as well as HBO's Deadwood: The Movie and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Helmed by Noah Hawley, Season 4 of Fargo will star Chris Rock, Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman, Ben Whishaw, Jessie Buckley, Salvatore Esposito, Andrew Bird, Jeremie Harris, Gaetano Bruno, Anji White, Francesco Acquaroli, E’myri Crutchfield, Amber Midthunder and Uzo Aduba. The season premieres on FX in 2020.
