'Fargo' EP Bringing Vonnegut's 'Cat's Cradle' to TV at FX

FX and "Fargo" showrunner Noah Hawley are working on a limited series based on Kurt Vonnegut's 1963 book "Cat's Cradle," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The "Cat's Cradle" announcement comes on the heels of another Hawley project at FX -- the previously announced "X-Men" series, "Legion."

"Cat's Cradle" explores the issues of religion, politics, and technology. It was written during the Cold War, during a time when the world lived in fear of the atomic bomb. "Cat's Cradle's" themes remain relevant today and will likely provide fitting commentary on today's highly weaponized world.

"Fargo" Season Two currently airs on FX.
