While Tom Holland may be nearing the end of his initial contract with Marvel Studios and Sony to portray the Marvel Cinematic Universe incarnation of Spider-Man, he has no plans to leave Peter Parker behind any time soon.

Following the completion of this summer's Spider-Man: Far From Home, Holland will only have one film left on his six-film contract, having previously appeared in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Despite this, Holland is open to extending his contract for the foreseeable future.

"It's an amazing experience as an actor and such a privileged experience as an actor to get to play characters that you love so much time and time again," Holland said during a set visit attended by Screen Rant and other outlets. "I definitely have the mindset of, if you want to make 20 of these movies, then I'm down because it's really fun. It's, it's been a real privilege and so much fun. Maybe even more fun this time around than the last one. It's been great."

Given the nature of Sony and Marvel sharing the cinematic license for the character, a contract extension would likely have to involve a new round of negotiations between the two studios, but hopefully, fans will see the adventures of Peter Parker beyond high school in the MCU.
