With Daniel Craig making it abundantly clear that he's done with playing James Bond -- going so far to say he'd rather slash his wrists than return to the role -- the search is on for a replacement. According to a new report, Jamie Bell has been speaking with longtime Bond producer Barbara Broccoli about possibly playing Agent 007.

Deadline reports, "Jamie Bell has discussed the Bond role with his 'Film Stars Don't Die' movie producer Barbara Broccoli," amidst negotiations between Sony and Warner over who will distribute the next Bond film.

The site also notes that the next Bond film has "...no workable script yet and the creative elements have yet to come into place," despite discussions of filling the title role.

Moving on from Bond, Craig is set to star on an upcoming TV limited-series called "Purity." The series will consist of 20 episodes over the course of two seasons. "Purity" is based on the novel of the same name by Jonathan Franzen, and follows a young female activist -- the titular Purity -- who embarks on a global search for her father.
