Marvel Strike Force is gaining some comic book heavy hitters as the Fantastic Four and Namor will be joining the mobile game.
To celebrate Marvel's 80th anniversary, Marvel Strike Force will see five major heroes join as playable characters: Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, the Thing and Namor. A number of other bonuses will come to the game as well, including character shards via daily check-in, double shards from campaign modes and lowered campaign refresh costs.
While Marvel's console games tend to get most of the attention, the company also has a growing roster of mobile games. Marvel Strike Force, a turn-based RPG, allows players to control various Marvel heroes and agents of the organization S.T.R.I.K.E. Like its other mobile games, many of the Fox-owned heroes didn't originally appear. That's slowly changed over the years, however, and games like Future Fight have seen the X-Men and Fantastic Four join the roster.
The Fantastic Four joined Contest of Champions earlier this year, and Namor is also a playable character. The ruler of Atlantis has yet to appear in Future Fight, though that could change as Marvel continues to celebrate its milestone with more goodies for fans.
Marvel Strike Force is currently available to play for free on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices.
