The Fantastic Four is Marvel's first family. When Stan Lee first decided to break from the mold and write stories he was passionate about, he created the Fantastic Four. Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and the Thing all came together to make one of the greatest superhero teams of all time. Their greatness wasn't just in terms of their powers and crimefighting skills, but also in the dramatic nature of the storytelling as well.

As we get closer and closer to seeing these characters enter the MCU, casting speculation continues to go out of control. Many fans have proposed their own "fan castings" of the characters during this time.

10 Dominic Purcell - The Thing

Purcell has risen to fame in the last half-decade for playing famous Flash rogue Heat Wave in the CW's Arrowverse. While playing Heat Wave, Purcell has proven his ability to play a tough guy with a little bit of heart underneath his metaphorically-rocky exterior. If chosen to play the Thing, Purcell would be able to do achieve the exact same goal, except this time the rocky exterior would be more than metaphorical.

Purcell has yet to play a starring role in a blockbuster movie. This would be a great way to introduce him to mainstream audiences.

9 KJ Apa - The Human Torch

One of the most in-demand actors working in Hollywood today is KJ Apa. Coming off of the massive success of the CW Archie series, KJ Apa is starting to pop up in several different franchises. It won't be too long before he gets his shot at staring in a blockbuster role.

Given how young and attractive Apa is, he is the perfect choice for Johnny Storm in the MCU. Casting rumors involving Apa will likely happen increasingly more often as we get closer to the FF's MCU debut.

8 Lily James - Invisible Woman

Sue Richards is one of the most powerful characters in all of Marvel comics. Although her alter-ego namesake suggests she can merely turn invisible, there is so much more to her powerset than that. Sue's incredibly strong force fields are one of the greatest weapons at the FF's disposal.

Lily James is young yet capable of playing a confident character. That means she could take on the role of the Invisible Woman for many years to come.

7 Andrew Lincoln - Mister Fantastic

Having proven himself in a leading role on The Walking Dead, Andrew Lincoln is set to enter the big screen and headline a blockbuster movie. What better role for him to fill than that of the leader of the Fantastic Four, Reed Richards.

Proving himself capable of playing a leader in The Walking Dead, Lincoln would make a great leader of the FF. Hopefully, the MCU chooses to go in this direction when the time is right.

6 Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - Doctor Victor Von Doom

The Fantastic Four's main antagonist, Doctor Doom, needs to be played by a great actor. As one of the greatest villains of the entire Marvel universe, Doctor Doom deserves nothing less than near perfection in his portrayal. There is one former Game of Thrones actor that would be able to pull that off.

Coster-Waldau is ready to go from Game of Thrones to blockbuster star. The Fantastic Four franchise and the MCU as a whole would be the perfect opportunity for him to do so. Bosslogic envisioned the character in the role with this fanart.

5 Michael C. Hall - Kang The Conqueror

It's been quite some time since we've seen Michael C. Hall in a prominent role. Since his time playing Dexter, Hall has only played a few smaller roles here and there. A great return to prominence for the actor could come in the form of Fantastic Four villain Kang the Conqueror.

After the events of Avengers: Endgame, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is in need of a new big bad. There are plenty of rumors circulating suggesting that Kang could be the new big bad. If that ends up being the case, Michael C. Hall would be a great choice to play the character.

4 Zac Efron - The Human Torch

Johnny Storm, also known as The Human Torch, is known for being a bit of a hothead both literally and figuratively. Basically an immature "bro," there is one actor perfectly suited to play this character: Zac Efron.

Efron is one of the actors that has been at the top of everyone's list for joining the MCU. There is no Marvel character more fit for this A-list actor than the attractive attention seeker Johnny Storm. Bosslogic did an amazing job of capturing this in the above image.

3 John Cena - The Thing

If Zac Efron is the perfect Human Torch than John Cena is also the perfect Thing. In the last few years, John Cena has gone from WWE superstar to a highly skilled Hollywood actor. Given his tough-guy exterior along with his soft, good-hearted core, Cena would be perfect for the part.

John Cena is a perfect choice to play a superstrong superhero. Maybe he'll finally get his chance to do so as Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing of the Fantastic Four. This is yet another piece of fanart by Bosslogic.

2 Giancarlo Esposito - Doctor Victor Von Doom

Giancarlo Esposito has been one of the best villain actors on several of the best television shows of the past decade. Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and The Mandalorian have all showcased Esposito's skill at playing a primary antagonist.

There is no bigger Marvel antagonist than Doctor Doom. If the character ever does make it into the MCU, Giancarlo Esposito and his sinister acting skills would be an incredible choice to bring Doom to life. The fanart above shows this to be the case.

1 John Krasinski & Emily Blunt - Mister Fantastic & The Invisible Woman

Ever since Disney gained the rights to the Fantastic Four back from Fox, fans have suggested that these two play Reed and Susan Richards. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are two of the best working actors today. They also happen to be married.

Prominent artist Bosslogic created a great piece imagining the couple as the leaders of Marvel's first family. After looking at it, it has become evidently clear that these two are the perfect choice to portray one of Marvel's first power couples.
