Move over, Hardy Boys. The Scamander brothers are on the case in a new official still from Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore.

In a recent gallery full of new images from upcoming films, USA Today revealed the Fantastic Beasts still, which stars Newt (Eddie Redmayne) and Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner). The still seems to be taken from one particular scene in The Secrets of Dumbledore's first official trailer, in which Newt and Theseus are seen traversing a dark cave, trying to blend in with magical crab-like creatures before being forced to flee from what appears to be a giant, multi-tailed scorpion.

The third entry in the Fantastic Beasts series of Harry Potter prequel films, The Secrets of Dumbledore is scheduled for release this coming April. Set in the 1930s in the lead-up to World War II, the film sees a young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlist a group of witches and wizards (the original Dumbledore's Army, if you will) in order to combat the growing forces of the evil wizard Gellert Grindelwald (now played by Mads Mikkelsen, who replaces Johnny Depp).

Leading the charge in The Secrets of Dumbledore is series protagonist Newt Scamander, a magizoologist and the author of the fictional book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which would go on to become required reading for the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Newt was first mentioned in author J.K. Rowling's original 1997 novel Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (published in North America as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone). Redmayne made his debut as the live-action version of Newt in the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which released in 2016.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was followed up by Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which released in 2018. The Crimes of Grindelwald introduced Turner as Newt's older brother, Theseus Scamander, an Auror for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Magic. In The Crimes of Grindelwald, we learn that Newt and Theseus' relationship has been somewhat damaged by their different personalities and beliefs, as well as Theseus' engagement to Newt's one-time love, Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz).

In The Secrets of Dumbledore, however, Newt and Theseus aren't the only ones called to Dumbledore's cause. The brothers are joined by Bunty (Victoria Yeates), Newt's assistant; Yusuf Kama (William Nadylam), a French wizard of Senegalese descent; Professor Lalie Hicks (Jessica Williams), a teacher at Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry; and Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler), Newt's muggle friend.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore hits theaters in the United Kingdom on Friday, April 8 and in the United States on Friday, April 15.
