Though Captain Marvel will hit theaters in just seven short months, Marvel Studios has yet to release a teaser for the film. Since Brie Larson was cast in the role in July 2016, there have been many casting and production updates and even an unmistakable reference to the character in the post-credits stinger in this summer's Avengers: Infinity War. So where the heck is that official trailer?

That's what a group of fans in Atlanta, Georgia want to know, and they really mean it. For two delightful minutes, they cavort in homemade masks in front of the camera, shouting their demand that Marvel Studios release the official Captain Marvel trailer stat.

In addition to issuing a deadline, proclaiming their love for Larson and randomly breaking into French, the fans in the video -- all of them male -- make a compelling point about the MCU's first movie led by a female superhero. Women, they argue, have had the benefit of seeing plenty of "beautiful boys" in Marvel's films: "Now it's time for us to have a beautiful, strong, lead woman." To drive it home, there's a brief gallery of Marvel's men and their abs, set to the refrain of, "No more abs!"

To gain some support for their cause, the Captain Marvel fans shared the hashtag #marvelfansunited in their video. They also ended with a special message about another cause that needs support and two more hashtags: #avengersforkeira and #marvelfansunitedforkeira. The campaign hopes to convince Marvel to let a young cancer patient named Keira in on the secrets of Avengers 4.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script they wrote with Liz Flahive, Carly Mensch, Meg LeFauve, Nicole Perlman and Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Mar-Vell, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, Algenis Perez Soto, McKenna Grace and Annette Bening in as-yet-undisclosed roles. The film arrives March 8, 2019.
