In a powerfully chilling mash-up video, a fan of both the WandaVision and Loki series from Disney+ and Marvel shows how the climactic moment from the former, where Wanda gains the power to become the Scarlet Witch, could inform a key moment in the latter, where Kang senses that his grasp on the multiverse has finally passed.

Running just two minutes and twelve seconds, the video from YouTuber mrl. marries the two climaxes together effectively. It starts with the final confrontation between Wanda Maximoff and Agatha Harkness in Westview's town square, brings in Kang during his speech to Loki and Sylvie at the 25-second mark and the two scenes play concurrently until they both fade to black around two minutes elapsed. There's one more glimpse of the diverging realities from Loki and an ominous line from WandaVision's Agatha closes the video out.

Jonathan Majors' performance as Kang takes on an even darker tone in this mash-up. It suggests that the key moment that He Who Remains has been waiting for, the moment when, "We just crossed the threshold," as Kang says and he no longer has any knowledge of how events will play out, is when Wanda's chaos magic is fully realized and she becomes the Scarlet Witch, much to Agatha's horror.

Even some of the sound cues seem to sync up, with Wanda attaining her peak power matching a deep rumble that appears to both delight and scare Kang. Agatha's line, "Oh god, you don't know what you've done" as she sees the Scarlet Witch before her leads perfectly into Kang's admission to Loki and Sylvie that he lied to them. "I fibbed earlier when I said I know how everything is going to go," Kang tells the two. "I know...I knew everything up to a certain point and that point was about 7, 8, 9, 10 seconds ago." The video shows how eerie it is that these lines take on added meaning when played concurrently.

Going forward, there's no second season of WandaVision, but the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, currently set for a May 6, 2022 release, is said to be the next step in the story of Wanda and her new powers. There's also a new Disney+ series based on Agatha Harkness in the works titled Agatha: House of Harkness, though there's no premiere date for that as of yet.

There is a second season of Loki in the works, and Kang will next appear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the third film in that franchise coming in 2023. Fans will likely have to wait for the release of those films to see if this video was as prescient as it feels, but there's more than enough activity in Marvel's multiverse before that, with Spider-Man: No Way Home coming exclusively to theaters on Dec. 17.
