The X-Men are a vital part of Marvel Comics history that have been sorely missing from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the recent news that Disney is attempting--or at did attempt, at one point, rather--to buy 21st Century Fox (the studio that's produced every X-Men film), many fans lit up in hopes that the mutant heroes would finally make their way to the MCU. One fan, YouTuber user Salacious Robot, was so excited by the prospect, they decided to add the X-Men into the colorful Marvel Studios title card.

The new title card for Marvel Studios first arrived with 2016's Doctor Strange. With triumphant new music, shows samples of scripts from previous MCU movies and art of big MCU characters--think Thor, Captain America, Ant-Man--before transferring to flashy highlights of the characters and ending on the logo. In the fan created video, clips from Logan, X-Men: First Class, and the first film are used to highlight the X-Men. For good measure, a cinematic version of the classic 90s X-Men theme was also added.

Sadly, with the proposed deal stalled, the X-Men don't appear to be headed to the MCU anytime in the near future. Until then, fans will just have to wait for the upcoming New Mutants movie, due in theaters on April 13.
