Another Avenger has announced he will make an appearance on Marvel Studios' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Disney+ series.

Don Cheadle told BroBible's Post-Credit Podcast that James "Rhodey" Rhoades will guest-star as War Machine alongside Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. "It's really a fun and interesting and, by all imagination, completely open-ended — this can go anywhere," Cheadle told BroBible. "It's great, I can't wait to get in the room with the writers and figure out how all those things [connecting Armor Wars to the MCU] happen. You know, Rhodey shows up in Winter Soldier and Falcon's show. So, it can be a lot."

"That's some of the fun of the MCU, that we all get to show up in each other's stories, and there are ways that we're cross-platforming these characters, and they become storylines, sometimes, in the movies. And then these storylines in the movies become storylines in the shows," Cheadle added. While the War Machine actor didn't divulge how large a role he will play in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, fans at least now know another familiar face will pop up.

Seeing other Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes guest-star in various Disney+ series is something fans should keep an eye out for. It was revealed in December that Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld's Hawkeye series will also feature Florence Pugh, who stars as Yelena Belova in Black Widow. Of course, the MCU has made a habit of making its feature films a team-up affair, culminating in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

The main theme in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is the legacy of Captain America, and who will take up the mantle in the absence of Steve Rogers. Wyatt Russell's US Agent is another character who will vie for the role as the MCU's new Captain America, though a Falcon and Winter Soldier toy leak has potentially spoiled who will truly become the next Captain America.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities -- and their patience -- in Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The series premieres March 19 on Disney+.
