An image shared by Sebastian Stan may allude to Bucky Barnes reclaiming the title White Wolf in the upcoming Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Posted on Instagram, the image seems to depict a white sheet covering a window with the words "White Wolf" spray-painted across it. Though Bucky was never White Wolf in the comics, Stan's character has become somewhat synonymous with the name in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Bucky taking the moniker White Wolf was teased at the end of Black Panther when several Wakandan children can be heard calling him by the name. However, while the name hasn't be heard again since, an EW magazine cover did, at one point, say Bucky would be using the codename White Wolf in Avengers: Infinity War.

The comics portray White Wolf as a Caucasian character that was welcomed into Wakanda by King T’Chaka, eventually becoming the adopted brother of Black Panther/T'Challa. The original White Wolf's origin mirrors how T'Challa welcomed Bucky into his country after the events of Captain America: Civil War.
