WARNING: The following contains spoilers for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale, "One World, One People," now streaming on Disney+.

The final episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ends with the final title card renaming the Disney+ series to Captain America and the Winter Soldier.

The final moments of Falcon and Winter Soldier show Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes celebrating at Sam's family home in Louisiana after defeating the Flag Smashers. After the camera fades to black, the words "Captain America and the Winter Soldier" unfold back onto the screen. We see this name again after the first set of credits, but this time it's preceded by "Marvel Studios Presents," followed by a new Captain America and the Winter Soldier title card.

Of course, this has led to speculation on Twitter that retitling The Falcon and the Winter Soldier to Captain America and the Winter Soldier is secretly a back door announcement by Marvel Studios for a second season. At the time of this writing, "Captain America" is the Number 9 trending topic in the United States, with #FalconandWinterSoldierFinale holding down the top spot.

However, Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce the second season of Falcon and Winter Soldier, or a spinoff titled Captain America and the Winter Soldier. Marvel Studios President and Marvel Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige stated that there are ideas for a second season of Falcon and Winter Soldier, though he wouldn't confirm those plans.

"It's a funny question and one we get asked much more in television because people expect it to be like we know [beforehand]," Feige said. "We really did approach it like we do the movies which is, 'We better make this great or we won't be able to do another one.'" He also added "there's certainly ideas" for what a Season 2 could look like.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The entire first season is available to stream on Disney+.
