Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes' new adventures are set to begin soon, as Marvel Studios' The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has been officially confirmed to premiere on Disney+ in 2021.

According to an updated synopsis on the show's official landing page on Disney+, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is now listed as "Coming 2021," though no specific month or date is currently given. However, it is known that the series will premiere after fellow Marvel Studios Disney+ series WandaVision.

Aside from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision, other Marvel Studios shows currently in production for Disney+ include Loki and Season 1 of the What If...? animated series. Season 2 of the latter is presently in pre-production, along with such outlines as Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk, while a Moon Knight series is also slated to debut on Disney+.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The series debuts on Disney+ in 2021.
