New merch for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier offers the best look yet at Baron Zemo's costume on the Marvel show.

Twitter user posted the art from TOPPS trading cards for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier ahead of the show's debut next month. Along with highlighting the new costumes for the titular heroes, the merch also provided concept art U.S. Agent and the villainous Zemo. After being arrested in Captain America: Civil War, Zemo is back to causing trouble for at least two of the Avengers. Only this time, he'll be sporting a look inspired by the comics. Check it out:

Blending his more real-world attire from Civil War with the purple suit and mask he's known for in the comics, Helmut Zemo will finally be getting a proper supervillain outfit for the upcoming Disney+ series. We saw the mask briefly in the 2019 teaser for the show, but this is the first full look at the suit (outside of a Funko Pop!) we've seen. The high-quality concept art matches previous images of the suit that have been glimpsed on various products, finally showing the various purple details that will be worked into the ensemble.

Zemo almost wore something similar in Civil War. Concept art showed a similar look for the villain was considered for his MCU debut, and an outfit complete with his signature sword was even in the mix at one point. There's no word of whether his weapon of choice from the comics will migrate to MCU via the show, but fans should be pleased with how Marvel Studios was able to translate the outlandish look from the page to something more viable for the screen.

In December, we got our first proper look at the show thanks to a full trailer, showing the struggles Sam and Bucky will face as they grapple with the legacy of Captain America. They'll face a number of new threats outside of Zemo, and multiple comic book characters will be jumping into the MCU for the first term. It's rumored that Patriot will be part of the show, and Sharon Carter will be making her return after last appearing in Civil War. Given how much that film seems to play into the show, expect the series to explore the fallout from the Sokovia Accords in more detail than the movies were able to accomplish given Thanos' arrival.
