A new character poster for Marvel Studios/Disney+'s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier places U.S. Agent in the spotlight.In the character poster, U.S. Agent/John Walker (Wyatt Russell) is seen in uniform, holding Cap's shield. Walker first appeared at the end of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's first episode, debuting as the new U.S. government-appointed Captain America. In the Marvel Studios' second episode, "The Star-Spangled Man," Walker split his time between making public appearances as the new Cap and battling the Flag-Smashers with his partner Lemar Hoskins, aka Battlestar.

Russell recently revealed that he auditioned for the part of Steve Rogers in Captain America: The First Avenger before the role went to Chris Evans. "I think it's a fun story, and I think that honestly, the first audition was really something to read to see if I was any good at acting or not," he stated. "I didn't ever think I was ever actually in competition for the role."

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. New episodes debut on Fridays on Disney+.
