The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has hit a snag in production. Reports state that because of the Puerto Rico earthquakes, filming had to be delayed.

@FWSupdates posted on Twitter earlier about the situation. The caption reads, " filming in Puerto Rico reportedly delayed. (See link/images) Note it says they were to be there several weeks. [Series] The Falcon and the Winter Soldier habría cancelado su rodaje en Puerto Rico." Attached were a few images of a more detailed statement.

The English translation image set reads, "This January, it was planned that the filming of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier planned to move to Puerto Rico to continue its filming, to be located as an important location for quite a few weeks. However, filming at this location would have been canceled. Filming was reportedly scheduled to begin tomorrow in the Arecibo area, but the strong earthquakes that have been taking place since the end of December, which have even led to the closure of the activity on the radio telescope in the area --one of the largest world-- have led Marvel Studios to decide to cancel their shooting plans in the northern part of the country. It is not yet known what the alternative plans for the production would be, as it does not suggest a widespread delay for the production in the wake of this last-minute change, so perhaps its work in Atlanta, its current filming location may be extended a little further."

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell and Daniel Brühl and will be available on Disney+ in fall 2020.
