The Falcon and the Winter Soldier just aired its finale, but if Elijah Richardson is to be believed, it's not the end for Eli Bradley.

The actor shared a collection of photos on Instagram of himself and Carl Lumbly, who plays his grandfather Isaiah Bradley. Richardson captioned the pictures with, "The Falcon And The Winter Soldier Finale ‼️ Watch a young king at work. This may only be the beginning of Eli Bradley !"

In the comics, Eli Bradley became a superhero in his own right as Patriot, a star-spangled adventurer and founding member of the Young Avengers. Initially, Eli appeared to be a super soldier like Steve Rogers before him. However, it was revealed that he was actually taking the dangerous steroid Mutant Growth Hormone to imitate Captain America's abilities. At the end of the first Young Avengers series, Eli received a life-saving blood transfusion from his grandfather, allowing him to fight crime as a genuine super soldier.

This isn't the first of the Young Avengers to make an appearance in the MCU. Cassie Lang, a.k.a. the size-shifting heroine Stature, has been a part of the Ant-Man features and made an appearance in Avengers: Endgame. More recently, WandaVision introduced the Maximoff twins Tommy and Billy, who grow up to become Speed and Wiccan. Additionally, Hailee Steinfeld is set to play eager young archer Kate Bishop in Hawkeye while Xochitl Gomez will feature as the dimension-hopping America Chavez in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Created by Malcolm Spellman and directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Adepero Oduye, Danny Ramirez and Daniel Brühl. All episodes are available to stream on Disney+.
