The latest set photos from Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier tease a mysterious location pulled from Marvel comics with a wall of brass monkey skulls.

Murphy's Multiverse has shown off a bunch of new shots from the upcoming series and reaffirms that some of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be taking place on the fictional island of Madripoor. The Atlanta set has reportedly been transformed into Madripoor and now includes the Brass Monkey Saloon, a revamped version of the Marvel Comics bar that holds host to a bunch of undesirables.

The new photos aren't confirmed as the Brass Monkey Saloon, but the wall of brass monkey skulls looks like the bar's sign from the pages of the comics. Sometimes known better as the Bronze Monkey, the Brass Monkey Saloon first appeared in 1989's Captain America #363. "Moon over Madripoor" featured Crossbones kidnapping Diamondback and taking her to Madripoor to set a trap for Captain America. Since its introduction, the Brass Monkey Saloon has become a focal point of the impoverished Lowtown district and become a hangout for criminal activities.

Elsewhere, the site showed off detailed set pieces for a casino, tattoo parlor, and Stinger's Strip House - which was one of Nick Fury's top-secret bases. While some of these locations might be little more than Easter eggs, others could be important to Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes' trip to Madripoor. This isn't the first time Madripoor has appeared in behind-the-scenes snaps of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier either.

Although the main storyline of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is shrouded in mystery, the Disney+ outing is a who's who of MCU favorites. As well as the return of Baron Zemo and Sharon Carter, there's also the introduction of Wyatt Russell as John Walker, aka U.S. Agent. The series was supposed to debut in August 2020 but the recent COVID-19 pandemic halted filming. Despite The Falcon and the Winter Soldier getting the OK to resume filming in the Czech Republic, production is still waiting to get the go-ahead as the show's release date continues to edge close.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell and Daniel Brühl and will be available on Disney+ sometime in fall 2020.
