Following the launch of the Disney+ streaming platform, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe have been privy to a range of original programming. The Disney+ special Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universe has provided concept art for several of the live-action miniseries coming to the premium streaming service, and now fans have a clear and official look at Baron Zemo's mask from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Previously, actor Daniel Brühl, who starred as the villain in Marvel Studios' Captain America: Civil War, revealed a blurry look at Zemo's mask via a video transmission at Comic-Con International in San Diego during the studio's Hall H presentation. However, we've finally gotten a cleaner look at him sporting his iconic purple sock-like mask.

The shot appears to be of Zero having just put on his mask, rocking gloves and a jacket to offer a very comics-faithful look. The lack of the mask was one of the minor gripes fans had with Brühl's depiction in Civil War, which ended with him being carted off to prison by Everett Ross.

Zemo has been one of Captain America's most notorious villains over the years, first created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1964's The Avengers #4. This comes on the heels of concept arm emerging from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, revealing new looks for Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter and a look at John Walker/U.S. Agent as well.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell and Daniel Brühl and will be available on Disney+ in fall 2020.
