The beginning of filming for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has brought with it the capture of set photos for the Disney+ series. Now, a new batch of action-heavy set photos feature stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp and Daniel Brühl, with Mackie's Falcon donning a particularly snazzy dress suit.
The combination of Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes and villains in the set photos obtained by JustJared will surely be the main attraction to most fans, but Mackie's Sam Wilson stands out from the crowd in a dark red jacket and pants suit with a matching vest. Golden circles also appear to be sewn into the jacket and pants as well, with a black symbol in the center of the circles.
Many of the photos are of the actors standing around between takes, but some also depict action sequences. For example, Falcon and Winter Soldier are shown running together while carrying on a conversation, with another photo showing Falcon holding himself up off the ground with his right hand as Winter Soldier reacts next to him.
One explanation for Falcon and Winter Soldier's completely opposite attire is Falcon may have been sent undercover, with Winter Soldier providing backup, but with no other information available, it is really anyone's guess what is taking place.
Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell and Daniel Brühl and will be available on Disney+ in fall 2020.
