The upcoming Marvel Studios/Disney+ TV program The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is being greeted with more anticipation than fellow Disney+ program The Mandalorian.

Data from TV Time indicates that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is drumming up 200 percent more anticipation from viewers than The Mandalorian at this same distance from its first episode. Comparing this data to WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is ahead by 43 percent in terms of anticipation.

This is not the first instance that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has generated impressive numbers that indicate how much audiences are looking forward to the program. It was recently revealed that the Super Bowl trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier had shattered numerous viewership records, including the most-watched trailer for a streaming show. Among trailers for high-profile Disney properties, that trailer also bested the 53 million viewers for WandaVision's trailer as well as the 111 million line views for the first trailer final film of the Star Wars sequel trilogy, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Directed by Kari Skogland, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier stars Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Wyatt Russell, Noah Mills, Carl Lumbly and Daniel Brühl. The series premieres March 19 on Disney+.
