As far as the Fairy Tail Guild's members go, Erza is by far one of the most powerful wizards. She has made quite the name for herself throughout the country of Fiore. As a Fairy Tail wizard, Erza has gone on some crazy adventures with her fellow guild mates and won some of the most difficult battles for her team.
Throughout the series, Erza accomplished a lot of impressive feats, many of which bailed her guild out of trouble. All her victories are testaments to her strength and she has earned the respect of many - her foes included.
10 She Escaped The Tower Of Heaven
Being a prisoner in the tower of heaven is a traumatic experience for anyone unfortunate enough to be there. Erza was one of those who were captured at a young age and forced to build the tower. The slaves were maltreated and lived in terrible conditions, and Jellal tried to lead a rebellion against their captors, but failed. Later on, Erza embarked on another escape attempt and used magic for the first time to fight against the guards. After leaving the tower, she joined up with the Fairy Tail Guild.
9 Erza Defeated Azuma & Saved Her Guild Mates Still Fighting
The battle on Tenrou Island was gruesome indeed as everyone put everything on the line to fight for the guild - particularly Erza. Azuma had brought down Tenrou tree which caused the wizards of Fairy Tail to lose their magic power, which was bad news to the wizards in the middle of a fight. Erza had to defeat Azuma since he gave his word that he'd rectify their predicament should she do so. Their battle was intense, but Erza persevered and won. Azuma in turn returned their power, and her friends could keep fighting.
8 She Defeated 100 Monsters In The Grand Magic Games
The Grand Magic Games proved that Fairy Tail was indeed the mightiest guild on the continent. Erza was able to show the caliber of wizards Fairy Tail could boast when she faced off against 100 monsters in the game of pandemonium.
The rule of the game was to declare how many monsters a person wished to fight before entering the castle, but Erza stole the show by challenging them all. She defeated every one and gained valuable points for her team during the games.
7 She Defeated Both Kagura & Minerva
Erza was confronted by Kagura during the Grand Magic Games, and soon after, Minerva joined the fray. Their three way battle was riveting to say the least. Erza was able to overcome Kagura's strongest move yet and defeated her. Minerva who had gone away prior to Kagura's defeat, but returned and began her assault on the injured Erza. Erza still fought back and eventually released her second origin: a power which allows her to access more of her magic reserves. With this, she turned the tables on Minerva and swiftly defeated her.
6 She Stopped The Fight Between END And Gray
Natsu awoke as END and defeated a member of the Spriggan 12 before heading out to find Zeref. He was stopped by Gray who eventually engaged him in combat. Meanwhile, Erza and the other Fairy Tail wizards watched in sorrow as Makarov cast Fairy Law and seemed to be dead afterwards. Erza was devastated but still managed to make it in time to stop her friends from destroying each other. She was able to put a stop to what would have ended with either Natsu or Gray gravely injured or worse.
5 All Her Enemies Are Afraid Of Facing Her Again
During the battle to liberate Hargeon, Erza, Jellal and Kagura were confronted by Neinhart, a wizard who brings back the dead through memories. Using this power, he made Erza's previous foes manifest and they sought vengeance for their defeat.
Among them were Azuma of the Seven Kin of Purgatory, Kyoka of the Nine Demon Gates of Tartaros, and Ikaruga of the Trinity Raven. Erza warned them to leave her sight or she'll defeat them once more. The historias disappeared proving that deep down those enemies were terrified of the prospect of facing Erza again.
4 She Became An S-Class Wizard Of The Fairy Tail Guild
Becoming an S-Class wizard of the Fairy Tail Guild is no easy feat. It takes years of training to be nearly strong enough to pull it off. Erza joined the Fairy Tail Guild as a little girl, and ever since then, she's taken on several jobs and become more powerful. As a result of her success and fame, somewhere along the way, she must've passed the master's intense trials and become an S-Class wizard.
3 She Defeated Ajeel Ralm Of The Spriggan 12
Ajeel was the first of the Spriggan 12 to attack the city of Magnolia, and he was met with fierce resistance. Erza challenged Ajeel but was overwhelmed by his power. Despite her odds, Erza pressed on, unleashing one ferocious attack after the other. Just when she was at Ajeel's mercy, she changed into an armor that shone so brightly that Bisca could see it through Ajeel's sand storm. She fired a Jupiter cannon at Ajeel and gave Erza the chance to finish him off.
2 She Shattered The Meteorite Irene Summoned
As if having to fight one of the strongest members of the Spriggan 12 wasn't incredible enough, when said member, Irene, cast her most powerful spell yet, Erza gave everything she had to stop it. Of all the displays of strength Erza showed throughout the show, this might just take the cake as the most jaw dropping one. Even Irene was shocked to see her pull off this seemingly impossible feat. After summoning a gigantic meteorite to earth, Irene watched as Erza flew into the sky and shattered it mid-flight.
1 She Earned The Name Titania
Erza was named Titania, a name borne by the legendary Queen of the fairies, thanks to all her deeds and fame throughout the land. She lived up to her name in every challenge she was faced with as a proud member of the guild. The title fits perfectly with her personality as she has a certain authority about her presence that makes everyone around her behave themselves. She's truly the Queen of the Fairy Tail Guild.
