The Flash star Ezra Miller reportedly claimed they would "lead an Indigenous revolution."

An earlier report stated that a protective order had been granted to Jumping Eagle and Chase Iron Eyes, Takota's father, against Miller on behalf of their 18-year-old daughter. Chase Iron Eyes explained that despite the order being granted, officials had been unable to serve the actor with the requisite papers on account of Miller moving "around so much [that] we're stuck in this legal limbo situation, and we can't serve them in any place they're in long enough. They've been flighty. They've been avoiding service, and now there's public pressure mounting on them to make a decision, which makes us very concerned about Ezra's volatile nature."

Grooming allegations against Miller surfaced in June 2022 following the filing of court documents by Iron Eyes and Jumping Eagle. Community response to the developments surrounding the case has been openly vocal, with one Indigenous insider noting that Miller "professes that [they] walks through this world with an Indigenous humility and spiritual awareness. But, point of fact, [they don't] at all. Because [they don't] care." Miller has no known Native American ancestry.

Others close to Miller have opened up about their experiences with the actor over the last year, which has seen them facing a multitude of accusations and criminal charges. One source explained that they believed playing the titular role in the upcoming The Flash feature film had contributed to the actor's mental health issues. Miller reportedly referred to themselves both as Jesus and the Devil, as well as made claims "that the Flash is the one who brings the multiverses together just like Jesus.”

Another source remarked that the divorce of Miller's parents may have been partly responsible for their increasingly erratic behavior over the past few years. A longtime friend of the actor said, "Ezra didn't start freaking out and losing control of themselves in public until after this happened." They continued, "The Iceland incident happened, and then it just kept going and going and going and going," in reference to a video released in April 2020 which showed Miller choking a woman in an Iceland bar. Miller has since reportedly maintained their innocence in the incident with regard to Warner Bros..

The Flash is currently set to arrive in theaters on June 23, 2023.
