Ezra Miller in Early Talks for 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'

Along with slipping into the role of the Flash in the upcoming "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice," actor Ezra Miller might also be joining Warner Bros.' other major franchise and entering into the world of "Harry Potter" as Kredan in the upcoming "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."

According to Variety, Miller is in early talks with the studio for the role and has always been the favored choice. They also report that Alison Sudol is director David Yates' choice for the role of Queenie and that Josh Gad and Michael Cera are meeting with execs next week for the role of Jacob -- the rival of Newt Scamander, the story's main protagonist, who will be played by Eddie Redmayne.

Taking place about seventy years before the events of the Harry Potter saga, "Fantastic Beasts" takes place in New York City and follows the author of the eponymous Hogwarts textbook as he studies and documents the magical creatures of the world.

Direct by David Yates, with a script penned by J.K . Rowling, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" arrives in theaters November 18. 2016.
