Warner Bros.' planned Flash film has certainly been through the wringer when it comes to directors, with both Seth Grahame-Smith and Rick Famuyiwa already having departed the project. However, in March, we learned that Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley signed on to helm the Scarlet Speedster's solo movie, and Barry Allen/Flash actor Ezra Miller has nothing but nice things to say about his new colleagues.

"Yeah, I did. I met them," Miller told fans at Wizard World this past weekend when asked if he's met Goldstein and Daley. "I met them recently. They’re really, really, really cool guys. I really like their work a lot. I think they’re really great."

Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen was one of the few things that was well-received in Justice League, and Goldstein and Daley were brought in after the duo impressed as writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming. They’re also responsible for the recent comedy Game Night, with many fans praising their brand of levity -- something Warner Bros. wants more of in the DCEU.

The Flash solo film stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Billy Crudup as Henry Allen, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and possibly Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Originally intended to hit theaters on March 16, 2018, when it was titled simply The Flash, the film is currently expected sometime in 2020.
