Long-time Star Wars writer Dave Filoni has incorporated more of from Star Wars Rebels into Star Wars: The Mandalorian. With the series featuring the return of Ahsoka and Bo-Katan, there was already hype among the fans to see beloved animated characters in live-action form. Now, The Mandalorian seems to be building up to the return of another popular Rebels character: Ezra Bridger.

Ezra Bridger was the main character of Star Wars Rebels who played an instrumental role in the early battles against the Empire. While the show saw him grow from a child into a young adult, the ending left his fate ambiguous. If he appears in The Mandalorian, how old would he be?

Will Ezra Be in The Mandalorian?

While there is little concrete proof that Ezra will for sure be appearing in The Mandalorian, it's likely that what happened to him after the end of Star Wars Rebels will be revealed in some fashion. With the recent episode, "Chapter 13: The Jedi," Ahsoka Tano's fight with the Magistrate culminated with her interrogating the defeated opponent about the whereabouts of her master, Grand Admiral Thrawn. In Rebels, Thrawn and Ezra were last seen hurtling through Hyperspace to the unknown regions of the Galaxy. When the war against the Empire ended, Ahsoka and Sabine Wren set off to look for him, with his whereabouts remaining unknown. However, Thrawn has made his play in the Galaxy, and wherever he might be, Ezra might be as well.

There is also the added fact that Din Djarin is bringing Grogu to Tython. Due to Tython's deep ties to the Force, Grogu can reach out to any of the few Jedi remaining. While this might put Grogu in contact with Luke Skywalker and his new Jedi Temple, it might also put him in contact with Ezra Bridger, which might be part of Ahsoka's plan to find him once again.

So, How Old Is Ezra Now?

Figuring out Ezra's age might not be so cut and dry. He could've tumbled back into the World Between Worlds, a place where time doesn't follow a logic. If that's the case, then there is no saying how old Ezra could be. However, due to the very specific means through which one can enter the World Between Worlds physically, this is not likely for Ezra.

Assuming that Ezra aged at a normal rate and did not end up in the World Between Worlds, Ezra would be approximately 28 or 29. He was born 19 BBY — or nineteen years before the Battle of Yavin — which took place during  A New Hope. The Mandalorian takes place 9 ABY, or nine years after the Battle of Yavin. By this logic, Ezra would be just short of thirty — around 28 or 29 years of age.
