Chris Hemsworth trades out Mjolnir for an array of machine guns and special ops training in the first trailer for the upcoming Netflix original movie Extraction.

Produced by longtime Marvel Cinematic Universe filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo from a screenplay written by Joe Russo, the film stars Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a highly trained and super deadly mercenary. In the film, Rake finds himself in the middle of a turf war between India and Bangladesh's biggest drug lords as he is recruited to rescue the Indian kingpin's kidnapped son.

Featuring hard-hitting fisticuffs and running gunfights, the trailer promises a decidedly more no-holds barred experience than Hemsworth's previous collaborations with the Russo Brothers.

Filmed on-location in India and Thailand, the movie is helmed by Sam Hargrave who had previously worked with the Russos as the stunt coordinator on 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Judging by the first trailer, Hargrave's stunt background has proved invaluable with the film's take-no-prisoners action sequences, providing Netflix with another high-octane thrill ride.
