The teleporting mutant Blink will make her return to the Marvel Universe in a relaunch of Exiles, from the creative team of Saladin Ahmed (Black Bolt), Javier Rodriguez (Spider-WomanRoyals), Alvaro Lopez (Royals, Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme), Jordie Bellaire (Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man) and Joe Caramagna (Amazing Spider-Man), with covers by David Marquez (Civil War IIDefenders).

Marvel announced the new series in a press release Wednesday. Joining Blink on the new Exiles team are Nick Fury as the Unseen, Khan, Iron Lad, Wolvie and a mysterious team member to be revealed at a later point.

“EXILES is a two-fisted, big-hearted wild ride of a book about a diverse team of alternate universe Marvel heroes banding together to stop a dire threat to the multiverse. Sort of WHAT IF? meets classic X-Men,” Ahmed teased in a statement. “Grizzled old Kamala Khan! Disgustingly cute cartoon Wolverine! It's a dream of a book to be working on for a Marvel fanboy such as myself, full of deep-cut guest stars and mind-blowing easter eggs. But it's also new-reader friendly -- a self-contained story of a group of misfits coming together, learning to trust each other, and, if they're lucky, saving the !@$# universe.”

The series will follow the Unseen as he assembles a new team of heroes to stop a new evil from threatening the multiverse. Created by Judd Winick and Mike McKone, the original Exiles launched in 2001 and followed Blink and various mutants from alternate dimensions as they hopped from universe to universe to solve those world's problems.

Exiles #1 arrives in stores April 11.
