To celebrate "X-O Manowar" #50, Valiant Entertainment is putting together a massive jam cover that will combine the artwork of 50 different artists. Each artist will present their own take on the long-running hero, which will then be composited in one single jam cover image. While the complete jam cover will be revealed soon, Valiant has provided CBR with an exclusive first look at four of the images.

The four teaser images come from artists Bob Layton, Jeff Lemire, Stephen Platt and Marguerite Sauvage. Layton is the co-creator of X-O and both wrote and illustrated issues of the original '90s series; the image marks Layton's first contribution to the current "X-O Manowar" series. Jeff Lemire ("Sweet Tooth," "Descender") currently writes the Valiant series "Bloodshot Reborn." Sauvage currently illustrates Valiant's "Faith," and Platt -- known for his work on "Prophet" -- makes his Valiant debut with the "X-O" teaser image.

Stay tuned to CBR for more information about "X-O Manowar's" massive 50th issue.
