Vision is poised to save all of creation in a preview for Avengers: No Road Home #10, the climactic finale to the Marvel event series, but he can't do it alone.
In the last issue of Avengers: No Road Home, the night goddess Nyx was able to acquire the final shard needed to bring her back up to full power, enabling her to find and enter the core of all creation, her new seat of power. But with the help of Hercules, Vision was able to slip into the core -- a house on Long Island -- right behind her.
Now, Vision has been rebuilt and stands alone against a fully-powered primal force of creation. As a lone android, he doesn't really have a chance. But the end of the preview teases that the Avenger might be getting ready to call on some other Marvel heroes to help him -- more precisely, a heck of a lot of them.
Vision reveals that his database contains a record of every Avenger who has ever served in the Marvel Universe. Given that he has just arrived at the "House of Ideas," a place where seemingly anything is possible (and a overt reference to one of Marvel Comics' longstanding nicknames), it seems that Vision might be getting ready to unleash these heroes on the goddess of night.
Avengers: No Road Home #10 goes on sale April 17. Al Ewing, Mark Waid and Jim Zub write the issue. Sean Izaakse provides art. Yasmine Putri illustrates the cover.
