EXCLUSIVE: Valkyrie #1 Preview Unites Jane Foster and Brunnhilde

War of the Realms proved particularly deadly to one of Asgard's mightiest heroes: Brunnhilde/Valkyrie, having been impaled and decapitated by Malekith. However, Jane Foster is set to take on her role in an ongoing series from Jason Aaron, Al Ewing and CAFU called Valkyrie: Jane Foster. A first look at that issue provided exclusively to CBR from Marvel Comics reveals Jane will start her journey by working with her predecessor.

In our interview with Aaron and Ewing on the issue, the latter explained, "We've also got the previous Valkyrie, Brunnhilde, in a support role for the first issue - giving advice from her fancy new residence, Valhalla. There's also a place in the first few issues for Brunnhilde's other half, Annabelle Riggs, who might have some advice for the human half of the Valkyrie equation."
