Steve Orlando: "This page sums it up, in many ways -- what we give up for family. What we do when we say, 'It's family.' And the answer is so much. We cut apart our lives into small pieces to hide things, and we put pieces away in favor of responsibility. Jordan's decision is heart-wrenching here but it's the only one he can make. Whatever he feels for his current life, his world has just expanded forward and backward through time, boundaries were broken, and he needs to explore. He has to know, even if until today he didn't know there was anything to find out. Now he can't forget."

"Jakub's work with Jordan looking over his shoulder energizes me here -- he's turning his back on us, and his entire life, for the pursuit of closure and knowledge. And every Kurosawa or Leone hero has to walk into the sunset or sunrise, and Jordan is no different."

"And as a side note, I love the adorable shape of Jordan's vehicle Jakub designed. Jakub's design sense showed me what 'Namesake' could be, the world of Ektae, our world with Ektae, and theirs with ours. He set the tone in a way that is beautiful, idiosyncratic, and fresh."
