When it hits stands in June, "Flashpoint" #1 promises to release a wave of changes to the DC Comics Universe -- and a wave of new tie-in titles to boot. At the core of the alternate reality's new world order is the series take on Superman, AKA Victor "Cyborg" Stone.

To celebrate the change of America's lead hero, DC enlisted the art team up of Ivan Reis and George Perez along with colorist Rod Reis for a special variant cover to "Flashpoint" #1," which the publisher provided exclusively to CBR News:

And to top it off, DC Executive Editor Eddie Berganza had this to share on the creation of the cover: "The 'Flashpoint' #1 variant cover presents a very different Man of Steel. In this timeline, it's American-made Cyborg Vic Stone, who is the Nation's number one hero. This also brings together two artists who were dying to work together, Ivan Reis on pencils and George Perez on the inks. Although George was surprised that Ivan took it easy on him by only doing one figure."
