Following an earlier tease around New York Comic Con, BOOM! Studios revealed the official details of the "Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" crossover miniseries this week. Following that news, CBR has the exclusive first look at a variant cover for the first issue of the series, by artist Felipe Massafera, who drew "Shaper" for Dark Horse Comics in 2015, along with cover work for multiple publishers.

Massafera's cover will be a foil-stamped "spectrum" variant; other cover artists on "Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" #1 include long-time Green Lantern artist Ethan Van Sciver (main cover), plus Steve Morris, Paul Rivoche and David Ryan Robinson. The six-issue "Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern" is co-written by Robbie Thompson ("Silk") and Justin Jordan ("The Legend of Luther Strode"), with art by Barnaby Bagenda, recently of "The Omega Men."
