In the film, Monkey D. Luffy and his crew are drawn to Gran Tesoro, a glittering city of entertainment that's beyond the laws of the World Government, making it a gathering place for pirates, millionaires and Marines alike. However, the Straw Hat Pirates quickly learn that, beyond the gilded curtains of Gran Tesoro is a powerful king whose bottomless ambitions could spell disaster not only for them but for the New World.

In this action-packed clip, Luffy, Usopp and Chopper are in the heat of a "Wacky Races"-style race in which apparently anything goes -- including a competitor throwing a bale of hay. Luckily, however, the Straw Hats have Luffy's rubber powers on their side.

The film is based on Eiichiro Oda's fantasy adventure "One Piece," which has more than 380 million copies in print, making it the best-selling manga series of all time. The story of Luffy's seemingly endless pursuit of the "One Piece" treasure and the title of King of the Pirates, the manga debuted in 1997, and has inspired an anime series, theatrical films, video games, light novels, theme park attractions and a wide array of merchandise.

"One Piece Film: Gold" will be released Jan. 10-17 in select theaters in the United States and Canada. A list of venues can be found on the Funimation website.
