SPOILER WARNING: The following cover reveal is a Major Spoiler for "Death of Wolverine" #4.

After teasing the cover for "Wolverines" #1 during New York Comic Con last week, Marvel has given Comic Book Resources an exclusive first look at the full piece of Nick Bradshaw art.

The fully-revealed cover depicts series stars Sabretooth, X-23, Mystique, Lady Deathstrike and Daken, gathered around Logan's adamantium-coated body, last seen in the final panel of "Death of Wolverine" #4. In the first issue of "The Logan Legacy," not all of the characters were even sure that Wolverine was dead, so it remains to be seen if this cover is symbolic or representative of the story within.

CBR spoke with series writers Charles Soule and Ray Fawkes about the upcoming weekly series. "These are people who don't play well together," Soule told CBR. "We have Daken, Deathstrike, Sabretooth, X-23, Mystique and a new character who gets introduced in 'Death of Wolverine' #4, who has quite a journey of his own that you'll get to read about in 'Death of Wolverine: Weapon X Project.'"

"The dynamics that normally shake out in a natural group are topsy-turvy in this one," added Fawkes. "Many of the characters are used to working alone, defying rules, and getting what they want through violent coercion. Put them all together in a room and force them to work together and things get -- hectic. And, in some cases, it brings out entirely unexpected traits."
